Golden PumpkinThe smell of baking pumpkin always brings back great memories of Thanksgiving for me. These special holiday moments with my family are memories that will last me forever.

Ingredients to make Golden Pumkin:

1 1 / 3 cups sugar
1 / 3 cup
3 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1 / 2 cups flour
4 c. teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 / 4 c. ginger tea
1 / 4 c. teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon lemon
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 cup raisins
1 / 2 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup canned pumpkin

Directions to make Golden Pumkin:

Beat together sugar and shortening. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, salt, ginger, allspice, nutmeg and cinnamon. Mix lemon juice, zest, raisins, walnuts, and pumpkin.

Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheet. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
